It’s not quite a Bob Pollard situation, but Cali garage rock baron Ty Segall is one of those guys who releases so many records it’s hard to keep track of them all. He’s about to add another LP to the pile in the form of Manipulator. This one is credited to Segall solo, not Ty Segall Band, but from the sounds of the video teaser that accompanied the announcement, it hits as hard as you could possibly hope for while still veering into low-key psych balladry at times.
