Cass McCombs – “Night Of The World”

Esteemed folk-rock singer-songwriter Cass McCombs is heading out on tour this fall with his spiritual ancestors the Meat Puppets, and the two artists are releasing a limited edition split 7-inch for the occasion. Cass McCombs Vs. Meat Puppets will feature two McCombs originals and two Meat Puppets covers, plus original art by Meat Puppets bass player Cris Kirkwood. One of McCombs’ contributions is “Night Of The World,” an understated swampy stomper that somehow manages to put a fresh spin on the blues. Hear it below along with the Meat Puppets’ cover of the Texas Tornados’ “(Hey Baby) Que Paso.”

Cass McCombs Vs. Meat Puppets will be released 10/28 by Domino in a limited run of 500.
