The improbably commercial resurgence of veteran Memphis drunk-rap overlord Juicy J is one of the great feel-good stories in the last few years of rap music. And Juicy doesn’t look like he’s slowing down anytime soon. Juicy’s got a new album called Pure THC: The Hustle Continues, and first single “Low,” with Nicki Minaj and Lil Bibby and Young Thug, is an absolute monster. Now Juicy’s following that one up with “Ice,” a money-talk song with a couple of other big-name collaborators. Future, for once, isn’t doing hook-man duty; he’s got a hoarse and intense verse. And the increasingly inescapable A$AP Ferg comes through with the sort of eerie singsong verse that Juicy’s old Three 6 Mafia co-conspirator Lord Infamous pretty much invented. Mike Will Made-It is responsible for the melodic rumble of the track. Listen below.
