It’s amazing to think that there’s any sort of still-unreleased Led Zeppelin music lying around after all these years. But next month, the band will reissue two of their classics, 1971’s Led Zeppelin IV and 1973’s Houses Of The Holy. Both reissues include bonus tracks, and the Houses Of The Holy reissue includes an alternate “mix minus piano” version of “The Rain Song,” the towering ballad from that album. Listen to that alternate version of the song, which Jimmy Page calls “a good blend of everything that’s actually being played,” below.
