In the new Stephen Hawking biopic The Theory Of Everything, Eddie Redmayne portrays the physicist and cosmologist as he ages from an able-bodied young genius to the world-renowned figure we know today, the paralyzed super-scientist who communicates through a computer. Jóhann Jóhannsson did the score, and his graceful instrumental “Domestic Pressures” premieres today. It’s a refined, pastoral piece of work with a mysterious spark that reminds me of Christmas music.
