Twin Hidden are a UK duo split between London and Manchester specializing in elaborate, kinetic indie-pop. New single “Join Hands” is a fine example of what they do. Atop piano arpeggios and digital clatter, a breathy vocal beckons, “Come step outside, the world has changed.” Eventually the song blooms into a big, bold, harmonious blast of futuristic chamber pop — sort of like Django Django or Super Furry Animals as filtered through Sigur Rós at their most ebullient. “Join Hands” will be out 12/1 via self-release.
