“Liberty Street” is the latest refurbished Bob Dylan rarity to be shared from Lost On The River, the collection of Basement Tapes scraps fleshed out by all-star cast of musicians known as the New Basement Tapes. Dawes frontman Taylor Goldsmith took the lead on this one. It’s the most beautiful thing I’ve heard from the project so far, a melancholy piano-pop tune that evolves into a big gospel-tinged production without going over the top. Watch the lyric video below.
