Sky Ferreira has signed on to star alongside Nicolas Cage and Elijah Wood in an independent thriller called The Trust. According to The Wrap, the story follows two corrupt Las Vegas cops who attempt to pull off some kind of heist, though it’s still unclear exactly what the singer/model/actress’ role will be. Ferreira’s debut LP Night Time, My Time made our 50 Best Albums list back in 2013, and though news of a completed follow-up would be a hell of a lot more exciting, the fact that she’s starring in a film with Nicolas Cage is definitely noteworthy. Ferreira just finished shooting Elvis & Nixon, starring opposite Michael Shannon, Kevin Spacey, and Alex Pettyfer.
