After more than a decade DJing for BBC Radio 1, Zane Lowe is leaving the station to go work for Apple. It’s unclear what he’ll be doing in his new position, but he’ll be moving to America to do it. “I want to thank everyone at Radio 1 for their support and friendship,” he told BBC. “The station has allowed me to share incredible music with the country’s best music fans.” Annie Mac will be taking over Lowe’s time slot. His last show will air on 3/5.
