LA duo Made In Heights is the joint project of alt-hip hop producer/Das Racist collaborator Sabzi and singer Kelsey Bulkin. Their songs cover a spectrum of subdued electronic pop, with Sabzi’s varied production approaches acting as the backdrop for Bulkin’s sensual, crystal-clear vocals. “Forgiveness” is a minimal, up-tempo cut that dresses Bulkin’s subtle hooks with ’80s toms and synth flourishes. It’s a solid pop song that expands on the duo’s already strong offerings “Panther” and “Ghosts“. The track will appear on Made In Heights’ as-yet-untitled sophomore full-length, which is due out next month. Hear the track below.
