Dominick Fernow, the New York underground noise kingpin and former Cold Cave member who records as Prurient, is getting ready to release a 90-minute double album called Frozen Niagara Falls. We’ve already posted “Dragonflies To Sew You Up,” and now Fernow has shared a 10-minute darkness odyssey called “Greenpoint,” named after the worst Brooklyn neighborhood where I have ever lived. The track starts with ominous acoustic guitar, moves on to seasick synth-drone, and transforms into a dark, muttered spoken-word narrative. Check it out below.
Frozen Niagara Falls is out 5/12 on Profound Lore.
