The Detroit sing-rapper Dej Loaf blew up last year on the strength of the murder-threat anthem “Try Me,” so it was a bit of a surprise to hear her come with the heartfelt sex ballad “Me U & Hennessy” on last year’s great Sell Sole mixtape. Last week, she came out with a video for the song, and used it to tease a new Lil Wayne remix to the song. That remix is out now, and it’s got Wayne sleepily crooning all sorts of sex promises. It continues the grand tradition of dudes on Dej Loaf remixes not sounding as good as Dej Loaf. Listen to it below.
