Eclectic Philadelphia producer RJD2 has teamed with Atlanta-raised, Philly-based rapper STS for an entire collaborative album intuitively titled STS x RJD2. Previously they shared the brassy, soulful “Hold On, Here It Go,” and today they’re honoring 4/20 by releasing their song of the same name. “420” features even more retro, feel-good production and finds STS reminiscing about smoking pot in high school over some seriously sweet flute action. It’s a stoner’s stoner anthem, pothead punning and lackadaisical exultation of the highest order. Listen below.
