See Jack White Go All-Acoustic For The First Time In Surprise Alaska Show

Last week, Jack White announced that he’d take a long break from performing live once he finished one final project. Right now, White is planning to play five surprise acoustic shows in the five states he’s never visited before, selling tickets for $3 a pop. The first of those shows was last night, just a couple of days after White played his second Coachella headlining gig. This particular show was at University of Alaska Anchorage’s Wendy Williamson Auditorium, and it was the first time White had ever played an entire show acoustic. People called in sick to wait in line for tickets at the 910-capacity venue. See some Instagrams below.

White still has shows coming up in Idaho, Wyoming, and both Dakotas. Watch a local news broadcast about last night’s show here.
