A week and a half ago, I watched as the unreformed Canadian goof Mac DeMarco drew an impressive crowd at Coachella. He has momentum on his side, so it seems like a good time to do what he’s doing: Cranking out a quick mini-album and spending the next few months on the road. This summer, DeMarco will follow up his 2014 album Salad Days with an eight-song mini-album called Another One. (If you pre-order the album, you get instrumental versions of every one of those songs, presumably so you can record some sick bars over them.) In a making-of video that DeMarco’s girlfriend shot, we see DeMarco recording Another One at his Queens apartment, playing a few different instruments and indiscriminately yelling cuss words. DeMarco will be touring through North America and Europe steadily through September. Below, we’ve got that making-of video, along with Another One’s tracklist and DeMarco’s tour dates.
