Sia Furler and Jack Antonoff are two music-business insiders now finding ways to weird up the mainstream on their own. Furler wrote hits for people like Rihanna before finding her own transgressive performance-art style of pop stardom. Antonoff, meanwhile, is a member of Fun. and a Taylor Swift collaborator, and he records excellently playful and nervy power-pop as Bleachers. Sia’s 1000 Forms Of Fear is out now on Monkey Puzzle/RCA, and she’s got a collection of “Big Girls Cry” remixes coming out 4/28.
