Miami’s Gunplay is arguably the greatest shouter currently working in rap. But for reasons that go way beyond choosing the name “Gunplay,” it never looked like he was going to get much of a shot at a commercial career. So it’s cool to see that Def Jam has at least invested enough in him to buy a beat from DJ Mustard. Mustard has furnished Gunplay with the monstrous banger “Wuzhanindoe,” and it comes with a bonus verse from Mustard’s favorite collaborator YG. These two sound great together, and the song just has a huge momentum to it. Listen below.

Apparently Gunplay’s album Living Legend is coming in July on Def Jam, though I’ll believe that when I see it.
