Janet Jackson teased a new album last month with a short announcement video, but she’s just confirmed it in a press release. The album will come out through Jackson’s new label Rhythm Nation Records in partnership with BMG sometime this fall. It’s Jackson’s first album in seven years since 2008’s Disclipline. “You will always know it is true when you hear it from my lips…” the singer noted on Instagram along with the announcement. She also hashtagged the words #ConversationsInACafe, which could be the record’s title or a lead single but it’s still unclear. Revisit the announcement video below.
