It can’t be easy to top an album as expansively beautiful as 2013’s Wakin On A Pretty Daze, but Kurt Vile seems like he’s ready for it. In recent weeks, Vile has shared some intriguing info about his next album: It includes his “best song ever” and some of the songs are “sort of dark.” And now Vile has announced the album’s title — it’s the idiosyncratically capitalized b’lieve i’m goin down… — and a massive fall tour that’ll take him across North America and Europe with Waxahatchee. He hasn’t given us a release date, but the tour starts off early in October, so it probably makes sense to expect the album sometime around then.
