Stream EZTV Calling Out

Brooklyn newbies EZTV (not to be confused with the torrenting service of the same name) recorded their debut full-length album, Calling Out, with Jarvis Taveniere of Woods. The whole “gently jangly” thing (in the words of our own Chris DeVille) is now streaming in full up until its release on Friday. You could compare parts of EZTV’s sound to the ’60s, some to the ’70s, and at times even ’80s rock. I’m not sure if this ubiquity makes EZTV incredibly familiar or like nothing else I’ve heard. It’s a shame Calling Out didn’t start streaming a few days ago, because this record just screams “America!” to me. Listen.

Calling Out is out 7/10 on Captured Tracks. Preorder it here.
