Robyn & La Bagatelle Magique Love Is Free Details

As previously reported, Swedish pop queen Robyn got together a new group called La Bagatelle Magique, which also features keyboardist Markus Jägerstedt and late producer Christian Falk, to release a new project this summer. And now Pitchfork reports that this project is a new mini-album called Love Is Free, and it’s coming out in a mere two weeks. It’s five songs long, which means I’ve clearly lost all ability to tell what’s an EP and what’s a mini-album. We’ve already heard a handful of those songs: “Love Is Free,” “Set Me Free,” and Robyn’s cover of Arthur Russell’s Loose Joints track “Tell You (Today).” Nevertheless, the news of some new Robyn music is always very, very welcome. Check out the tracklist below.

01 “Lose Control”
02 “Love Is Free” (Feat. Maluca)
03 “Got To Work It Out”
04 “Set Me Free”
05 “Tell You (Today)”

Love Is Free is out 8/7 on Konichiwa/Cherrytree/Interscope.
