Freddie Gibbs – “Fuckin’ Up The Count” Video

The great Indiana rapper Freddie Gibbs continues to crank out virtuosic, unflinching gangsta rap at an impressive pace, and he’s just announced that he’ll follow up this summer’s three-song Pronto EP with a new album called Shadow Of A Doubt next month, as Pitchfork reports. New new LP features appearances from people like E-40, Gucci Mane, and the Roots’ Black Thought. Its lead single, “Fuckin’ Up The Count,” has a dazed and twinkly beat from Frank Dukes and frequent Drake collaborator Boi-1da. Its video, from director Jonah Schwartz, tells a tragic story about kids in over their head selling drugs. Below, watch the video and check out the Shadow Of A Doubt tracklist.
