Later this week, David Bowie will release his experimental, freaked-out new album ? (or Blackstar). His video for the title track was such an unsettling, vivid vision that its images are still dancing around in our collective head. And now he’s got another one on deck. Later this week, Bowie will share his video for “Lazarus,” the surging and oddly catchy single that also appears in his new stage play. And this morning on Facebook, Bowie shared a short teaser for the video. From the few seconds we can see, it has a similar color palette to the last video. The new clip seems to show Bowie, in bed in a tiled hospital room, wearing a blindfold with eyeholes in it. It doesn’t make any sense to put eyeholes in a blindfold, but Bowie does not care about our pedestrian notions of what makes sense and what doesn’t. Watch the teaser below.
