Glastonbury 2016 Lineup

The English festival Glastonbury, the grandfather of all these massive annual mega-fests, just announced its lineup for this year, and it’s just as huge as ever. The festival comes to Worthy Farm in Somerset 6/22-26. As previously reported, Adele will headline this year’s festival, which is about the biggest get imaginable in this particular summer. She’ll share headlining duties with Muse and Coldplay, which makes for a fairly sleepy and uninspiring slate of headliners. But Glastonbury remains vast, and there is so much stuff to be excited about further down the lineup: Beck, LCD Soundsystem, PJ Harvey, Disclosure, the Last Shadow Puppets, the 1975, Grimes, James Blake, Chvrches Skepta, M83, Sigur Ròs, Explosions In The Sky, Kurt Vile, Vince Staples, Savages, Kamasi Washington, and Bat For Lashes, among many others. Glastonbury also likes to throw in some leftfield choices, and this year’s lineup has plenty of those: ZZ Top, Ronnie Spector, Earth, Wind & Fire, Cyndi Lauper, Madness, Art Garfunkel, the Syrian National Orchestra. There are still more acts to be announced, but here’s the full lineup, as it exists right now:
