It helps to have a fire debut single like “Drop,” though. The song is a gathering cloud of fidgety rhythms and melodies that strikes me as futuristic R&B gone spaghetti western. So it’s fitting that director Andy Hines shot the video at Big Sky Movie Ranch, where Django Unchained was filmed.
