There’s a fucking borderline hardcore song on Blood Harvest, which just goes to show how far out band to watch Haybaby have gone on their new EP. Sure, “What It Is” is a bit of an outlier on the five-track collection, but it still demonstrates the Brooklyn band’s heightened ambitions on the back of last year’s great debut, Sleepy Kids. We’ve already heard “Joke/Rope” and “Pig” off of Blood Harvest, and the rest of the tracks on here are just as sinister and worth listening to as those. Do so via Spin below.
