Pearl Jam Performed With Jack White At Third Man Last Night

Tomorrow night, Pearl Jam will headline a night of Tennessee’s massive Bonnaroo Festival. But before playing that show, they played a very different sort of show last night. The band made a visit to Jack White’s Third Man headquarters in Nashville, playing a short secret show at White’s Blue Room and recording the whole thing direct-to-acetate. And as part of the band’s eight-song set, White himself joined in on guitar for one song, helping out on the non-album track “Of The Earth.” No video of the performance has materialized online yet, but you can see some Instagrams from the show below, via Pitchfork.

Excited people excitedly entering the #thirdmanrecords patio… Whatever could they be so excited about?!
