Last month, the New York blues-rocker Margaret Glaspy released the impressive, assured debut album Emotions And Math. And last night, she gave her first-ever televised performance, doing musical-guest duties on Conan and knocking out her single “You And I.” She seemed calm and casual on that stage, and she and her band already sound tight and road-tested.
