Last year, Spirit Club, the newish trio led by Wavves frontman Nathan Williams, released a self-titled debut album. They’ve already made their follow-up album, recording it in Los Angeles with veteran producer Dennis Herring, who worked with Williams on Wavves’ King Of The Beach. On Twitter, Williams writes that “all three of us were dealing with breakups so the tone of the whole record is very…sad/angry.” First single “Room To Run” has a serious widescreen Beach Boys shimmer to it. Williams says he’ll announce all the album details next week.
