Drake and Future are spending this summer on the Summer Sixteen arena tour, and it started last night at Austin’s Frank Erwin Center. Videos from last night’s show have been showing up online, and it’s pretty clear that the show, at least last night, had a very impressive stage set and a very excited crowd. And while it’s been billed as a co-headlining tour, it seems more like Future is the opening act who sometimes comes out to perform with the headliner. Given Drake’s absurd levels of commercial dominance this year, that just makes sense. Watch some videos from the show below, via Pitchfork.
Even if you don’t think Drake or Future is having a great year creatively — and I don’t — this looks like a fun night out.
