Ryley Walker will release Golden Sings That Have Been Sung — the follow-up to last year’s Primrose Green — next month, and we’ve already heard two singles: “The Halfwit Me” and “The Roundabout.” Today, Walker debuted a new Joe Martinez Jr.-directed video for the latter. In the clip, Walker strolls through town and engages with some of the local citizenry. He ends up shotgunning beers in a backyard, lighting a cigarette with a sparkler on a street corner, and watching people set off roman candles at dusk. It’s a plain and beautiful tribute; watch below.
