Next month, rousing Philly rock nostalgists Beach Slang will give us their sophomore album A Loud Bash Of Teenage Feelings, and they’ve just dropped a video for “Punks In A Disco Bar,” its big and hearty first single. The fuzzy and vintage-looking clip, from director Jason Lester, follows a crew of rocker kids around a city I don’t recognize. We see them drinking, smoking, riding Vespas, doing each other’s tarot cards, shooting off fireworks, and finally coming face-to-face with a grim-faced cowboy guy. I don’t really understand the whole narrative payoff, but it’s a cool video, and you can check it out below.
