Santa Monica songstress Weyes Blood has announced her fourth LP, Front Row Seat To Earth, which will be her third album on Mexican Summer. To kick things off, she unleashes the lead single “Seven Words” along with a set of visuals. The song slowly unfurls like a blooming flower, with organs sprawling into chill ’70s singer-songwriter vibes. The accompanying clip is a simple affair directed by Charlotte Linden Ercoli Coe. It features a sad, loose narrative in which the singer is kidnapped and eventually found washed up on a beach by her lover. The images accentuate the conflicting sentiments in the difficulty of moving on despite it being necessary. Watch.
