Have you been watching Roadies, Cameron Crowe’s Showtime dramedy about the rock-band touring lifestyle? Me neither. But Stereogum’s own Scott Lapatine, who has been keeping up with the show since the very beginning, informs me that there’s a running joke about how the real bands brought in to open for the show’s fictional Staton-House Band, keep quitting their tour. Thus far, Jim James, Lindsey Buckingham, Lucius, and Halsey have all participated. And on a new episode, we get to see a few seconds of Phantogram performing their great new single “You Don’t Get Me High Anymore.” Thanks to YouTube, we don’t have to sit through a whole episode to see Phantogram’s appearance.
