Hello Shark is the project of Philadelphia-based musician Lincoln Halloran, and he’s getting ready to release his next full-length, Delicate, at the end of the month. A few weeks back, we heard lead single “Drake Night,” which features vocals from Florist’s Emily Sprague and used a chance encounter with an ex as a jumping-off point on where they went wrong. “Jackson Browne,” the album’s second single, finds Halloran in a similarly introspective headspace, this time using the touring habits of the legendary musician to reflect on the toll distance and space can take on a relationship. “Baby I’m delicate/ I don’t wanna quit,” he begins over plinking keys and a sagging backdrop. “Baby, you tour like Jackson Browne/ But you’re worth all of it.” Listen below.
