The young Philadelphia rap star Lil Uzi Vert’s video for “You Was Right,” from the new album Lil Uzi Vert Vs. The World is a bright, colorful affiar, with Uzi and producer Metro Boomin presiding over a sort of Mad Hatter’s tea party and a bunch of hypnotized women wandering around. Spike Jordan directs. (Because of an incorrect press release from Atlantic, we originally identified the video’s director as Spike Jonze. Nope! Spike Jonze did not direct it.) Check it out below.
