A couple of weeks ago, in the video for his Daft Punk collab “Starboy,” the Weeknd killed the 2015 version of himself. And now, in the new video for the tense follow-up single “False Alarm,” he does a whole lot more killing. The video is shot from the first person, and it’s a bloody nerve-jangling affair, telling the story of a bank robbery that leads to a car chase. Ilya Naishuller, director of the movie Hardcore Henry, is the party responsible. Watch it below.
The Weeknd’s new album Starboy is out 11/25 on XO/Republic.
