Nick Drake’s “Which Will” is a spindly, fragile, meditative British folk classic, one of the best songs on Drake’s eternally beloved 1972 album Pink Moon. Amber Arcades, meanwhile, is Annelotte de Graaf, a Dutch musician who, earlier this year, released Fading Lines, an impressive album that she recorded with members of the Men, Real Estate, and Quilt helping out. De Graaf has now recorded her own version of “Which Will,” and it’s a sunny, propulsive indie rock song that’s only barely recognizable as a Nick Drake cover. Check it out below.
Fading Lines is out now on Heavenly Recordings.
