Tim Darcy – “Tall Glass Of Water” Video

Tim Darcy is the frontman of Ought, the Montreal post-punk quartet that has been of the most consistently great bands in music these past few years. He’s got a solo album called Saturday Night coming out next year on Jagjaguwar, and it finds him applying his knack for nervous-tension rock to music of a rootsier and/or more meditative variety. Our first preview is opening track “Tall Glass Of Water,” which arrives today with a video. “If at the end of the river, there is more river, would you dare to swim again?” Darcy sings, before answering himself: “Yes, surely I will stay, and I am not afraid. I went under once, I’ll go under once again.” Watch below.
