Meatbodies – “Creature Feature”

Cali garage-psych upstarts and Band To Watch alums Meatbodies will return next year with the follow-up to 2014’s self-titled LP. ALICE is billed as “an 11-track concept album covering war, sex, politics, and religion,” with a sound the band describes alternately as “heavy pop” or “metal on molly.” News of the new album arrives with the hard-hitting, glammed-up lead single “Creature Feature.” It’s an excellent reminder that Bolan and Bowie’s influence lingers long after their departure from this plane — and that Meatbodies remain one of the best units digging for gold amongst the relics of rock history. Crank it up below.
