We named Syd’s debut solo effort, Fin, Album Of The Week when it dropped back in January, and now the producer/singer is sharing an outtake from that album. Syd tweeted that “Treading Water” was her favorite song on Fin until it was cut from the tracklist. The song was produced by Steve Lacy and Ronald “Flip” Colson, and as The FADER points out, the instrumental on it ended up on Big Sean and Jhené Aiko’s “Selfish.” Listen to “Treading Water” below.
