One of the best live bands I’ve seen in recent months is Fried Egg, an intense and ferocious old-school hardcore band whose members live in the central Virginia cities of Charlottesville and Richmond. They play fast, rudimentary ’80s-style hardcore, and they do it with absolute fury and conviction. If they’re playing a punk-house basement anywhere near you anytime soon, you should go see them. Today, the band released a new four-song 7″ EP, and it might be the shot of raging energy that you need in your life right now. Stream it below.
