Last month, Nebraska-based dreamers See Through Dresses announced their sophomore album, Horse Of The Other World, with the towering and powerful “Violet.” The next single from the album, “Pretty Police,” is a bit more subdued, but no less affecting. Sara Bertuldo takes the lead on this one, and her voice aches with the disappointment of a relationship that seemingly will never give her what she needs: “You only want me when I’m on my back for you/ It’s not enough to say you’d leave her, too, someday,” she sings despondently over a glittering backdrop.
