Chris Cornell’s sudden and shocking death this week has revealed the music world’s depths of admiration for his music. One of those talented admirers is Heart’s Ann Wilson, who performed a tribute to Cornell on Jimmy Kimmel Live! last night. Additionally, Wilson shared this statement on Cornell yesterday:

It’s important now to keep thoughts of Chris positive. He is on his way. We loved him well, now wish him well on his journey. He was and is a beautiful soul.
