Earlier this spring, Leslie Feist returned with Pleasure, her first album in six years. One of the album’s singles was “Century,” a duet with Pulp frontman Jarvis Cocker. Last night, Feist was the musical guest on Stephen Colbert’s Late Show. But she didn’t have Cocker with her. And so Stephen Colbert stepped in, joining Feist onstage to deadpan Cocker’s part. (Colbert can absolutely sing, but he didn’t really do it here.) And it totally worked; Colbert and Feist should think about hitting the road together. Watch the performance below.
Pleasure is out now on Interscope.
