Bewitching synth-folk experimentalists Hundred Waters just put out the surprise EP Currency, and they’re about to follow that up with a whole LP entitled Communicating. We’ve heard two singles already, the poppy “Particle” and the beautifully anthemic “Blanket Me,” and now they’re back with a new one called “Fingers.” It’s a captivating electro-acoustic reverie that comes with an equally captivating video from director Allie Avital, who previously helmed the band’s haunting “Murmurs” video back in 2014. The clip finds Miglis lounging on the floor while a growing mass of over 12,000 millipedes, spiders, and other creepy crawlies gradually envelop her body, and if you’re not the type to get squeamish about bugs, you should absolutely watch it below.
