Shockwaves NME Awards 2011 Nominations

Kings Of Leon 2010

NME announced their nominees for the Shockwaves NME Awards today. Kings Of Leon are nominated for Best International Band as well as Worst Album and Worst Band. It’s as if the NME is saying the best foreign bands aren’t as good as the worst British bands. But Lady Gaga is also nominated for Most Stylish and Least Stylish, and Kanye West, last year’s Villain Of The Year, is nominated for Hero Of The Year in 2011, so there are a few contradictions here.
