Damon Albarn must not sleep. The Blur/Gorillaz frontman is always juggling a few dozen projects, and from the looks of things, we’ll hear more from a couple of them soon. First up, there’s the debut album from Rocketjuice And The Moon, the appallingly-named supergroup that features Albarn, Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist Flea, and the great Afrobeat drummer Tony Allen. NME reports that the band’s self-titled debut album is due 3/26, and that it’ll feature collaborations with Erykah Badu, the Hypnotic Brass Ensemble, and a few African artists.
But even more exciting is the news that Albarn plans to release more music with the band that brought him to the dance. As Consequence Of Sound points out, Blur guitarist Graham Coxon recently told Daily Record, “We haven’t planned the rehearsals yet, but there will definitely be another Blur album.”
