The atmospheric Toronto synthpoppers Austra released their Habitat EP earlier this summer, and we've posted their videos for the title track and for "Hulluu." Their new clip for the tick-tocking staccato instrumental "Doepfer" uses digital distortion and laser pointers and various other super-cheap effects to make everyday sights (fountains, airplanes passing overhead, a dead rat) look trippy and nightmarish. Adrienne Crossman and Maya Postepski directed the video, and you can watch it below.
