Last month, Calexico treated us to “Cumbia de Donde“, a tasty electro-mariachi hybrid from their forthcoming Edge of the Sun LP. Now they’ve followed up with the soaring, desert highway soundtrack, “Falling From The Sky”, which features Band of Horses’ Ben Bridwell on backing vocals. It’s more of a straight-ahead rock song, but with a velvety synth lead and horns that send the chorus skyward. Hear the track below.
